Sagra del Carmine in Villatora: tradition and conviviality in the Padua area

The return of the Sagra del Carmine in Villatora

From July 10 to 14, 2026, the village of Villatora, in the municipality of Saonara, renews its annual appointment with the Sagra del Carmine. The event takes place in the Patronato area of Via XI Febbraio, a space that serves as a hub for local social life and the preservation of regional customs. The festival aims to be a meeting point for the community, integrating leisure moments with a culinary offering rooted in the agricultural traditions of the province of Padua.

A gastronomic offering rooted in the territory

During the five days of the festival, starting from 7:00 PM until midnight, a food stand managed by volunteers will be open. The menu focuses on the enhancement of typical products, offering traditional Venetian cuisine alongside more informal options such as mixed fried food and sandwiches. The continuity of the food and wine offering aims to support the activities of the patronato, strengthening the bond between the citizenry and local hospitality facilities.

Entertainment and culture

The evening entertainment program consists of a heterogeneous schedule ranging from ballroom dancing to tribute band performances and dance exhibitions. In addition to the main stage, the festival area hosts the Folk Traditions Market, where artistic crafts and natural wellness products can be found.

In parallel, the event offers spaces dedicated to culture and games. Themed exhibitions, a charity raffle, and a book market aimed at promoting reading are planned. For the younger audience, an area equipped with inflatables has been set up, ensuring the event is accessible to various age groups in a controlled and safe environment.
