Folk Traditions Market at the Chioggia Sea Music Festival

The event and the historic setting

From August 13 to 23, 2026, the Isola dell'Unione Sports Facilities in Chioggia become the hub of an important cultural exhibition. The area, located in a strategic point of the Venetian lagoon, serves as a natural stage for the second edition of the Folk Traditions Market, promoted by the NSV Event Organization Cultural Association APS in synergy with the Sea Music Festival.

The location, characterized by its proximity to the lagoon ecosystem and the historical value of the urban area of Chioggia, known as 'Little Venice,' offers an ideal setting to combine contemporary entertainment with the rediscovery of the territory's artisanal roots. The program spans eleven consecutive days, transforming the sports space into a multidisciplinary gathering center.

Craftsmanship and holistic wellness

Starting at 7:00 PM, the public has access to an exhibition path dedicated to artistic craftsmanship. The selection of stalls reflects a variety of manual techniques ranging from the processing of natural materials to the aesthetic care of the artifacts. The exhibition promotes holistic wellness practices, supplementing the offerings with natural products, practical demonstrations, and experiential workshops led by industry experts.

This section of the event aims to promote a culture of artisanal making and physical and mental awareness, offering visitors the opportunity to interact directly with exhibitors and participate in technical in-depth sessions.

Live music and gastronomic offerings

Sunset marks the transition to the evening artistic program. Starting at 9:00 PM, the Sea Music Festival stage hosts live concerts spanning different musical genres, ensuring a heterogeneous schedule for the Venetian summer audience. The entertainment is completed by a Food & Drinks area dedicated to local food and wine specialties, designed to encourage a prolonged stay and the integration between artistic enjoyment and conviviality.

The event takes place at the Isola dell'Unione Sports Facilities in Chioggia. Exhibition activities open to the public at 7:00 PM, while musical performances begin at 9:00 PM. Admission is free and open to all citizens and tourists in the lagoon area during the month of August.
