Isole che Parlano: thirty years of art and landscape in Gallura

Thirty years of artistic research

From September 5th to 13th, 2026, Gallura becomes the center of a complex cultural project with the thirtieth edition of Isole che Parlano. The festival, under the artistic direction of Paolo Angeli and Nanni Angeli, continues its investigation into the relationship between contemporary expression, local identity, and landscape morphology, confirming itself as an international reference point for interdisciplinary experimentation.

An itinerary between history and nature

The program covers a wide geographical area, involving the municipalities of Palau, La Maddalena, Arzachena, and Luogosanto. The choice of locations responds to a precise desire for enhancement: archaeological sites, rural religious architecture, ancient pine forests, and coastal settlements are reconfigured as performance spaces. This overlapping of modern artistic languages and historical stratification offers a unique perspective on the Gallura territory, transforming the natural environment into an active element of the narrative.

The program and appendices

The artistic proposal aims to foster encounters between musicians, visual artists, and the local community. After the central core of activities, the festival includes a dedicated appendix that extends the scope of the project: on September 19th in Palau and September 20th in Orgosolo. The Sarditudine Association, the organizing body, maintains a constant focus on accessibility, promoting free and democratic enjoyment of the works presented.

Logistical information

The entire event, including concerts, performances, and art installations, is free to attend. Visitors are advised to consult official channels for timely updates on schedules and specific geographical locations, considering that the event takes place in open spaces characterized by different logistical conditions. Further details on the program and guest artists are available through the event's official portal or by contacting the organizing office.
