UCI Mountain Bike World Championships: the pinnacle of the discipline in Val di Sole

Off-road excellence in Trentino

From August 26th to 30th, Val di Sole once again becomes the nerve center for international mountain biking. By hosting the UCI World Championships, the Trentino valley consolidates a well-established tradition, having already hosted the world championships in the 2008, 2016, and 2021 editions. The event represents the competitive pinnacle for professional athletes, attracting the best performers of off-road disciplines in an environmental context of significant natural and sporting importance.

Tracks and disciplines in competition

The program features a tight sequence of technical tests that put the versatility and physical endurance of the participants to the test. The competitions range from Cross Country (XCO, XCC, XCR) to Downhill, including categories reserved for E-MTBs. Riders will face courses that combine extreme slopes, technical wooded passages, and downhill sections with a high level of difficulty. Among these, the Black Snake stands out, a track globally renowned for its technical layout, which requires precise vehicle control and millimetric accuracy.

A territory dedicated to cycling

Val di Sole is not just a stage for cycling competitions, but a territory that has been able to integrate sport into its tourism and landscape offerings. The valley's vocation for mountain biking is reflected in the meticulous care dedicated to the permanent tracks, which attract enthusiasts throughout the year.
