Mangia's Musaic Festival: music and archaeology in Sicily

An itinerary between music and history

From July 17th to August 1st, 2026, Sicily transforms into a widespread stage for the Mangia's Musaic Festival. The event, under the artistic direction of Nick the Nightfly, the historic voice of Radio Monte Carlo, proposes a cultural path that combines contemporary musical research with the island's monumental heritage. Five exclusive events will animate different geographical areas, creating a harmonic dialogue between international sounds and ancient architecture.

The locations and the value of the territory

The festival is held in contexts of exceptional importance. The Archaeological Park of Selinunte, the theater for some of the concerts, represents one of the most significant sites in the Mediterranean basin: its majestic Doric ruins, overlooking the sea, offer a setting of rare charm for live performances. Equally significant are the host venues: the Mangia's Torre del Barone Resort & SPA in Sciacca, the Selinunte Resort, and the Mangia's Brucoli Autograph Collection®. These structures ensure respectful integration with the Sicilian coastal landscape, enhancing the bond between excellent hospitality and cultural promotion.

The artistic program

The artistic proposal is oriented towards an international audience, ranging from pop-funk to gypsy influences. Among the names present are Leee John of Imagination and the multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Sax, accompanied by his band. The lineup continues with the acid jazz sounds of Dirotta su Cuba and the vitality of the Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo, artists who have marked decades of world music history. Each evening is designed to enhance the natural acoustics of the environments, transforming resorts and archaeological areas into immersive listening spaces.

Logistical information and accessibility

The Mangia's Musaic Festival is open to the public through various participation options. For updated details regarding specific dates for each concert, ticket availability, and access methods for individual locations, it is recommended to visit the official event website or contact the dedicated secretariat. It is advisable to check booking procedures in advance for events scheduled at the Archaeological Park of Selinunte, given the special protected nature of the area.
